This was my first foray into 12th-century clothing. I drafted a pattern based on a class handout created by Lady Marguerie de Jauncourt. All of the patterning was done using rectangular or triangular pieces; no cut curves.
I used a red linen/cotton blend that I had on hand as well as a golden linen blend for the neckline and armbands. The sleeve lining is cotton quilting fabric with a printed design that had a look I felt was appropriate for the time.
